Are your candles vegan and cruelty-free? Absolutely. All of our candles are 100% vegan and cruelty-free. We do not use any animal-derived ingredients, and none of our products are tested on animals. What about your fragrances? Are they sustainable? Our luxury fragrances are selected for their eco-conscious properties. They are free from parabens, with many also being free from phthalates. We work with suppliers who align with our commitment to sustainability and ethical practices. Are your materials sustainably sourced? Yes, we carefully source all materials from sustainable and ethical suppliers within the UK. From our wax to our fragrances and packaging, every element reflects our commitment to sustainability. What makes your candles eco-friendly? Our candles are made with a natural blend of rapeseed and coconut wax, which is completely free from paraffin, soy, palm, beeswax, and synthetic additives. This ensures a clean burn that is gentle on the environment. We also use recyclable or reusable packaging to minimise waste. Is your packaging recyclable? Yes, all of our packaging is recyclable or designed for reuse. For example, our candle jars can be repurposed as planters, storage containers, or decorative pieces. Why don’t you use soy wax or beeswax? We avoid soy wax due to concerns about deforestation and monoculture farming practices, which can harm ecosystems. Beeswax is avoided to ensure our products remain vegan-friendly and cruelty-free. Our rapeseed and coconut wax blend is a more sustainable and ethical alternative. What is your Fellside Footprint? The Fellside Footprint is our promise to minimise our impact on the environment. This includes using sustainable materials, reducing waste, and sourcing locally whenever possible. Every product is crafted with care for both you and the planet. Are your candles seasonal? Yes! Our collections change with the seasons, inspired by the beauty and scents of nature. Each collection is carefully curated to bring the essence of the current season into your home. How long do your candles burn? Burn time varies depending on the size of the candle: Full-size candles: up to 35 hours. Travel candles: up to 20 hours. Wax melts: up to 10 hours per piece How do I remove wax from the container once it’s used? To remove leftover wax, place the jar in the freezer for a few hours. Once the wax hardens, it will pop out easily. Clean the jar with warm soapy water, and it’s ready to be reused! How do I care for my candle for the best burn? To ensure an even burn and longer-lasting candle: Trim the wick to about 5mm before each use. Let the wax melt evenly across the top each time you burn it to avoid tunneling. Burn your candle for 2-3 hours at a time for optimal performance. Can I recycle or reuse your candle jars? Yes, absolutely! Our candle jars are recyclable, and we encourage reusing them for storage or creative purposes once the wax has been used up. How should I store my candles? Store your candles in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat. This helps maintain their fragrance and appearance. Always keep the lid on when not in use to preserve the scent. What’s the best way to use your wax melts? Simply snap a piece off the wax melt bar and place it in your wax melter. Each piece will burn for 8-10 hours. You can also snap the melt into smaller pieces to extend its use. What are your delivery options? We offer free local drop-off within a 20-mile radius of Mosser. Local delivery is also available to eligible postcodes in West Cumbria (CA15, CA14, CA26, CA28, CA20, CA17, CA18) and takes 3–5 business days. This service is free for orders over £30. For all other orders within the UK, postage is £4.95, shipped via Royal Mail. Free UK-wide delivery is available for all orders over £50. Orders are usually dispatched within 2–3 business days, with delivery times varying based on location: local deliveries typically take 3–5 business days, and Royal Mail deliveries are estimated to take an additional 3–5 business days after dispatch.
